Zamfara Killings: Governor Yari Speaks On Protests Against Him

Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State has aforementioned that recent protests by the youths in abuja, Kaduna and London couldn’t be unconnected with the sheer fanatical desire of Zamfara politicians to hijack power without group action.

A press statement issued and signed by his press secretary, Hon. Magaji Dosara, claimed that Zamfara state voters failed to paticipate within the protests, saying that power-drunk politicians within the state employed none Zamfara voters to satisfy their self-serving ambition.

The governor stressed that those that united to be paid for the unholy protests haven’t any plan of the protection scenario within the state, stressing that the desperate politicians simply wished to form him a whipping boy within the method.

He maintained that the people utilized in the protests didn’t perceive what quantity of the state resources his government and the federal government have committed to resolving the security challenges within the northwest state.

“I am not in any way saying that the Protestants have done something wrong by creating their grievances known to the general public because it’s their constitutional rights,” he said.

Continuing, the Governor noted that no accountable government would fold its hands whereas terror attacks still ravage the state without finding any lasting answer to the matter.

He stressed that taken the protests to London in the uk was to tarnish the name of the entire country before the whole world.

Governor Yari called on the power-drunk politicians to “wait for their appointed time instead of moving quicker than their shadows”, saying that their scheming “was never how Allah designed this universe to function”.
