Recently, Health Canada authorized Moderna’s updated mRNA vaccine.
Shots produced by Pfizer and Moderna are one-dose vaccines for patients five years of age and older.
Three shots of the Pfizer vaccine are recommended for children between six months and four years old who have not received their primary series of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Canada reveals it is presently reviewing an updated non-mRNA vaccine produced by Novavax.
Novavax’s vaccine has been tendered for consideration in patients who are 12 years and older.
