The South Africa High Comissioner have been summoned by the Federal Government of Nigeria over the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama who revealed this to news men on Monday said that the government is determined to take decisive measures following the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.
A senior ministry official, Kimiebi Ebenfa, confirmed the meeting to News Men.
The meeting is expected to hold at the headquarters of the ministry of foreign affairs by 11 o’clock today.
He described the news of the attack as ‘sickening and depressing.’
