Will Smith has reacted to the decision of the Academy to ban him for a decade.
It should be recalled that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced recently that Will has been banned from every event of the organization for 10 years for slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
However, Will Smith will retain the Oscar he won this year for his role in “King Richard.”
While responding to the ban in a brief statement to Page Six recently, the actor said: “I accept and respect the Academy’s decision.”
