Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has performed well in England player this season. He shared the English Premier League top tackler spot with Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the 2019/2020 season and set a new record with Leicester City after the premier league season finished recently.
During the recently-concluded season, Ndidi and Wan-Bissaka made 129 successful tackles while Pereira made 119 tackles.
During his first season in Leicester after coming from Belgian club, Genk, Ndidi ranked first in the tacklers’ chart with 138 successful tackles and emerged Leicester City’s Young Player of the Year for the 2017/18 season.
The following season, he made 144 successful tackles and made history by becoming the first player to rank first in tackle charts for two consecutive seasons.
