The Executive Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike and three other aggrieved governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have jetted out to Spain.
The other aggrieved governors are Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Samuel Ortom (Benue).
The four Governors took a photograph at the International Airport, Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area recently before jetting out to Spain in a private jet.
According to a top party chieftain in Rivers State who pleaded anonymity, the governors travelled to Spain this morning but the reason for the trip remains unknown.
He said: “Yes, it is true. They left for Spain early Saturday morning, but I can’t say the reason for the trip.”
It should be recalled that Governor Wike addressed a live media chat recently at Government House, Port Harcourt, where he made fresh shocking revelations about the national chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorcha Ayu.
