The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, Elon Musk, and Twitter’s co-founder, Jack Dorsey, will testify ahead of October’s court trial over Musk’s decision to end the acquisition deal.
Musk initially offered to acquire Twitter for $44 billion, but later ended the agreement. He cited breach of contract, as he accused Twitter’s management of failure to provide necessary details on user data as requested.
Also, he said Twitter lied that below 5% of its over 200 million Monetised Daily Active Users (mDAU) are spam accounts, while he argued that the percentage was higher. Twitter denied his claims and sued Musk in court to ensure he honours the acquisition contract.

With the court trial scheduled for October 17, Musk has been asked to make himself available for questioning next week, September 26 and 27. Dorsey, former Intel CEO, Robert Swan, and Oracle founder, Larry Ellison, have been sent subpoenas.
According to The Paradise, Twitter has been getting in touch with close friends and associates of Musk to get vital information for their defence when the court trial starts in October.
Information reveals that should Musk lose the court case, he will acquire Twitter at a lower price of between 10% and 15%.
