Reports that legendary musician 2face Idibia, a.k.a. Tubaba, had an affair with a female banker have prompted a response from the singer’s management.
Recall that the singer recently told his wife, Annie Idibia, that he was sorry for embarrassing their family and that he was done serving as a role model for anyone, preferring to concentrate on making music instead.
After the heartfelt apology, a dishonest web report claimed that the father of seven apologized to his wife because he had another woman impregnated him.
The management of the singer has since issued a statement calling the allegation “false and spiteful” in order to refute it. Additionally, they urged Nigerians to ignore the false claim.
The statement reads;
“We would like to put it on record that the “why” is exactly what was explicitly spelt out in the same post – the pressure of almost a quarter of a century of superstardom and a wish to focus on making music without the burden of high expectations of a role model.
Reports of him getting anyone pregnant are totally false and malicious and we urge well-meaning media platforms and members of the public to completely disregard such. It is fake news.
Many would recall that this fictitious banker character has been repeatedly getting e-pregnant for @official2baba every two or three years since 2014. There is no iota of truth in this allegation.”
