United States President, Donald Trump has bagged another nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, for a historic peace deal between Serbia and Kosovo.
Trump’s first nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize came recently for brokering a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
A member of Swedish Parliament, Magnus Jacobsson announced the second nomination of Trump in a letter that was shared on social media recently.
While sharing the letter, Jacobsson wrote: “I have nominated the US Gov. and the governments of Kosovo and Serbia for the Nobel Peace Prize for their joint work for peace and economic development, through the cooperation agreement signed in the White House.
“Trade and communications are important building blocks for peace.”
This nomination came days after Trump was nominated as a candidate for the same prize, by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a right-wing member of the Norwegian Parliament.
