The seminar work of Nisha Pahuja, a Professor at University Of Toronto, Nisha Pahuja,, the docu-drama ‘To Kill A Tiger’, has been nominated in the category ‘Best Documentary Feature’.
The movie, which was set in the heartlands of Jharkhand, explores the journey of a father who sets out to get justice for his 13-year-old daugh .
Pahuja hails from India but relocated to Canada with her parents in the 1970s. she is an alumnus University Of Toronto where she studied English literature. Though she aspired to be a fiction writer, she became interested in film directing after meeting with local Canadian Producer, Geeta Sondhi, who hired her as a researcher on the CBC documentary ‘Some Kind of Arrangement.’
