Toronto Police Service (TPS) has honoured a Nigerian, Chidi Nwanyanwu, with a five-year award of partnership with the TPS serving in the community.
Nwanyanwu received the award recently when the Toronto Police Service honoured community volunteers for different years of service.
While confirming the receipt of the award on his Twitter handle, Nwanyanwu tweeted: “Over 5yrs of partnership with Toronto Police Service as a member of The Chief Of Police Black Community Consultative Committee.
“It’s an honour serving with committed men and women of BCCC. This award is dedicated to my wife Erica @erybum for having my back as I offered my time.”
