Nigerian Pop singer, Tiwa Savage, took to social media to pen an appreciative note to popular American musician, Usher, for welcoming her on stage during the recent Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana.
Before Tiwa came on stage, Usher told the audience to brace up for her performance and Tiwa had a great time on stage as she thrilled her fans with her songs.
After the event, Tiwa took to her Instagram page and wrote: “Icon @Usher thank you so much for this moment yesterday. You have a kind heart.”
Stormzy, Tems, and other popular local and International artists performed at the Global Citizen Festival in Ghana which is an annual event geared towards eradicating poverty and raising funds to end extreme poverty.
As an international organization with headquarters in New York, and support from countries such as Canada and the United States, there was also a live performance in New York on that same day.
