President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
After the meeting, the duo offered Friday prayers at the State House Mosque.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, confirmed the development in a statement in Abuja and said the two leaders discussed several issues of common interest privately.

Tinubu was accompanied to the State House by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa and Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State.
Tinubu will take over power from President Buhari on May 29.
