The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu took the last lap of his campaign to his Lagos territory, where he was welcomed by a large crowd at a packed stadium.
Thousands of people converged inside Teslim Balogun Sports Complex in the city centre, offering a loud climax to Asiwaju’s nationwide road tour four days before the presidential election.

Tinubu, a former Lagos governor and candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress or APC, is one of the major frontrunners in an uncommon competition to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari who will step down on May 29.
Jagaban, as he is fondly called, arrived in a bus with the slogan “The nation builder”, walked to the podium with Buhari and urged voters to elect him as their next leader with a pledge of “renewed hope”.
While talking to his supporters, he said: “All the agenda set in our programme, the renewed hope manifesto, will be pursued diligently, vigorously.”
Tinubu said his two terms as the Executive Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 gave him the experience Nigeria needs.
