An Osun State Court has sentenced Abdul-Rahman Adedoyin, the owner of Hilton Hotels, Ile Ife to death by hanging over the death of Timothy Adegoke.
Recall that Timothy Adegoke, a Masters student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, died mysteriously in Hilton Hotel on November 5, 2021. After Timothy’s death, Dr Adedoyin and six of his staff were charged to court on eighteen counts of conspiracy, felony, murder, alteration, indecent interference of the corpse, alteration and cancellation of receipt and oath-taking to prevent justice.

Adedoyin has been found guilty of the murder of Timothy by Justice Oyebola Ojo, the Chief Judge of Osun State. While delivering her judgement, Justice Ojo said circumstantial evidence against Adedoyin proved he was responsible for Timothy’s murder.
The Judge also discharged and acquitted four staff members prosecuted alongside Adedoyin of the charges pressed against them.
Popular On-Air Presenter who has been reporting the case, Oriyomi Hamzat, took to his Facebook case to disclose that the Judge in her ruling sentenced the hotelier to death by hanging.
