Tiger Woods has finally spoken out after last week’s fatal car crash that left him with severe injuries.
In his first public talk after the accident, the professional golfer thanked his fans for their support after his surgery was successful.
While thanking his fans, Woods tweeted: “It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the tv and saw all the red shirts.
“To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time.”
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department revealed that the crash took place just after 7 a.m. on that fateful day in Rancho Palos Verdes, southwest Los Angeles.
Tiger was reported to have been driving at a “relatively greater speed than normal” at the time of the accident. He has however undergone a lot of procedures in a bid to treat the injuries he sustained on his lower right leg and ankle.
