As Toronto Mayor, John Tory, started his last day in office, someone threw three eggs at his windows. The incident happened just before 6:20 a.m.
The eggs were thrown at Tory’s windows, which faced Nathan Phillips Square, by an unknown person while the Mayor was at his desk reading a newspaper.
One of the eggs landed between the doors below them, while the remaining eggs hit the glass pane window next to Tory’s desk.
In the video, Tory makes a quick glance up before going back to read his newspaper.
While talking about the incident, police said they have been made aware of the egg incident and are investigating it.
The incident happened after protesters entered the council chambers repeatedly during Tory’s final city council meeting recently.
