Shan George has reacted to the new laws from Amnesty International which protect Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Some days ago, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila called for regulation of social media, describing it as a menace.
Amnesty International agreed with him and said critics of the President risk a three-year jail term for criticizing the president.
Reacting to the development on Isaac Fayose’s comment section, George stated that the government needs to renovate and expand the prisons. According to her, some Nigerians would go to prison for criticizing the government.
She wrote: “They should begin to renovate and expand d prisons o. We go all enter”.
