Super Falcons’ home jersey at the FIFA 2019 Women’s World Cup has been voted as the tournament’s best jersey.
The jersey contested against the jerseys of Australia, England and Germany in a poll conducted by FIFA on Twitter.
The poll started on June 21, 2020 and ended on June 22, 2020. A total of 2,348 votes were recorded and Nigeria emerged winner with a whopping 50% of the total votes cast.
Australia came second with 21% of the total votes cast, England came third with 15% votes while Germany finished fourth with 14% of total votes cast.
The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup took place last summer in France.
The Super Falcons were eliminated by Germany in round of 16 and United States of America won the tournament after defeating Netherlands in the final of the competition.
