Sheikh Sultan Ensures Equal Grants for Children of Female Citizens

الشارقة في 17 أكتوبر / وام / وجه صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، "كهرباء الشارقة" بمعاملة أبناء المواطنات مثل المواطنين في "المنح الدراسية"، والبالغ عددهم حالياً 72 طالباً وطالبة، وإرجاع المبالغ التي دُفعت لمن دفعها، عن طريق الديوان الأميري في الشارقة.                أعلن عن توجيه سموه، عبر برنامج "الخط المباشر" الذي يبث عبر أثير إذاعة وتلفزيون الشارقة.

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a directive to the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA).

The directive aims to extend equal treatment to the children of female citizens, similar to the treatment provided to scholarship recipients, both male and female. Presently, there are 72 students benefiting from these scholarships.

The Ruler has also ordered the repayment of amounts previously collected from those who paid them.

The Amiri Diwan in Sharjah will oversee the process of returning these funds.

These directives were announced during the “Direct Line” program, broadcast on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA).
