Barcelona FC forward, Sergio Aguero has announced his retirement from professional football after a heart problem.
The Argentine is quitting football less than six months after joining Barcelona from Manchester City.
Since he joined Barcelona, Aguero only played five times owing to injuries and health problems since the move.
The 33-year-old was rushed to the hospital on 30 October after he experienced “chest discomfort” during the match against Alaves.
Aguero became the all-time leading scorer of Manchester City before he joined Barcelona on a free transfer in July.
He ends his career with 427 goals in 786 games.
