Famous Nollywood actor and film director, Obinna Nwafor, also known as Saint Obi, has died. He died after a battle with an unspecified illness.
Saint Obi’s death was confirmed by his colleagues in the film industry.
According to sources, he died last week Sunday and his corpse has been deposited in a morgue at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).
He died at the age of 57.
According to reports, he had been treating an unspecified illness and had visited the hospital for treatment for months before he died.
Saint Obi came onto the acting scene in 1996 and featured in over 100 movies which include ‘Sakobi’, ‘Festival of Fire’, ‘State of Emergency’ and other great films.
