Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of Adoration Ministry in Enugu has cried out for help, as he alleged that the Catholic Diocese of Enugu is preventing him from celebrating mass with his parishioners.
Also, the Reverend Father is the Parish Priest of Saint Marys Catholic Church, Emene.
There are unverified reports that Mbaka has been suspended by the Catholic Church.
Mbaka has been in the headlines recently after confronted President Muhammadu Buhari that he supported before and shortly after the 2015 presidential election.
Meanwhile, Mbaka can’t withstand the President lately and has labelled his administration ‘satanic’ and ‘evil’.
After he called on Buhari to resign or face impeachment by the legislature over face growing insecurity and widespread poverty being witnessed the populace, the presidency said Mbaka has castigated the administration because Buhari refused to award him mega contracts.
Mbaka responded with greater curses on the Buhari presidency.
After Mbaka was declared missing for 2 days, parishioners of the Adoration Ministry invaded the quarters of Bishop Callistus Valentine Onaga, the diocesan bishop, and destroyed the whole place.
Mbaka came back to a hero’s welcome when the protests ended and said the diocese has been attempting to shut him up; and that he was freed because of the protests.
He said: “How can they believe what others say, and they will not believe what the priest is saying?
“The emphasis is please, let me go to celebrate the mass, but they said no. If a priest will request to celebrate mass and they say no, that means something is wrong.”
He also revealed the church wanted him to leave his ministry for a month, a request he declined.
