Manitoba RCMP has said they have been called two times because an airline passenger was not putting on a mask while flying.
The Mounties made it known they responded to a report about an unruly passenger on a flight from Vancouver to Winnipeg and were informed that the man had ignored directions to wear a protective mask.
They say a 39-year-old man from Winnipeg is facing a charge of failing to comply with flight crew instructions which attracts a maximum fine of $5,000.
A flight from Vancouver to Toronto had to be diverted to Winnipeg due to an alleged unruly passenger on June 14.
RCMP said a 60-year-old Surrey man was charged after lighting a cigarette during the flight and ignoring to wear a mask.
In that case, the accused was detained in custody on charges which include mischief, smoking onboard an aircraft and failing to comply with flight crew instructions.
