Nigeria’s multi-award-winning Afrobeat superstar, Davido, has hinted about the arrival and official release of the ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’ collection on his social media for weeks.
However, due to the recent tragic event that occurred in his family, Puma are now expected to postpone the launch to a later date.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Davido and his fiancee Chioma Rowland’s son, Ifeanyi died.
The news was met with huge shock and made the couple postpone many events with colleagues, politicians, public figures, fans and friends of the couple expressing their sympathy for the family.
The signature collaboration of Puma with Davido is a collection filled with bold, statement pieces inspired by Davido’s roots.
The ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’ collection is a collaboration between Puma and Davido’s charity organization.
Some of the high points of the collection include Graphic T-shirts, Logo T-shirts, Reversible Bucket hats, and T7 AOP pants.
The new date for the official launch in Lagos has not been confirmed but the merchandise can still be pre-ordered by fans on the store’s official site.
