Peter Obi Defeats Tinubu in Lagos, by Stanley Ugagbe

Aggrieved Nigerians in the United Kingdom marched to the Nigerian High Commission in London to protest the outcome of the recent election in Nigeria, in which Bola Tinubu of the APC was declared the winner.

The election was reported to have been dented with irregularities, which has generated controversy among citizens both in Nigeria and abroad.

While demanding that the election outcome be overturned in favour of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, instead of Bola Tinubu of the APC, the protesters were chanting “Give us Obi, give us Obi,”

Recall that the Labour Party filed a suit against the Independent National electoral commission (INEC) and the ruling APC over the outcome of the election, citing election rigging and declaring that the Labour Party won.

Also, the Supreme Court in Abuja granted Peter Obi and the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, access to the sensitive election materials of the INEC to ascertain the transparency in the electoral process of the February 25th Presidential election.
