Nigerian comedienne and actress, Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess revealed in a newly published interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo that she received death threats for exposing, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.
Baba Ijesha was nabbed and arraigned before the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court in April 2021 after he was caught on camera molesting a minor.

Princess, whose foster child was abused in the case, revealed that after she took the case up, a bounty was laid on her life and she received death threats.
Baba Ijesha was sentenced recently after facing six counts of child defilement which included indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault by penetration.
Justice Taiwo Oluwatoyin found Baba Ijesha guilty of two of the six-count charge against him, sentenced him to 16 years in prison, and added that the sentence will run concurrently for five years.
While speaking in the video published after Baba Ijesha was sentenced, Princess noted that she had earlier regretted voicing out about the case.
When she was asked whether she felt regret, Princess said: “Now, I don’t, but in the first two to three weeks, I did.”

She said that she felt regret because “they put a bounty on my head. They wanted to kill me.”
While talking further, she said: “Some people that I respected so much, I found out that they were the ones pushing him (Baba Ijesha).”
