An independent cinema and an independent film-maker are working together to show the largely untold story of Canadian pilots who supplied tonnes of emergency food to Biafra in the late 1960s.
The cinematic premiere of “Operation Lights Out: The Untold Story of CANAIR Relief” will occur at Princess Cinema in Waterloo on Sunday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 4.
These pilots saved a million lives while four died in a horrific crash, but many people don’t know the story.
