The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), on Wedneday, July 24, applied to withdraw its petition challenging the outcome of the 2019 presidential election won by Muhammadu Buhari.
The PDM had opposed the victory of Buhari, who was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the election. The Nation reports that the counsel to the PDM, Aliyu Lemu, told the presidential election petition tribunal that the party had instructed him to apply to withdraw its complaint.
