The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has forwarded the result of autopsy conducted on the corpse of gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, to the Director of Public Prosecution for vetting and prosecution.

Osinachi died on April 8.
Recent reports had connected her death to domestic violence by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
The spokesperson of the command, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development in a recent statement in Abuja.
Adeh said the autopsy was carried out on the deceased to confirm the circumstances surrounding her death and urged the public to exercise patience and trust the process.

She added that due diligence would be carried out in pursuit of justice in the matter.
She said further updates would be communicated to the public in due course.
