Abia State policemen have rescued two abducted people in Aba area of the state.
This development was confirmed by Abia State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede. While confirming the development, the Commissioner said policemen were still trailing the abductors.
The victims (Nwankwo Chinedu and Ndukwe Agu) were kidnapped along Okpulo-Umuobo Road in Aba on Wednesday.
According to the Commissioner, the victims were rescued by the police officers unhurt but the hoodlums escaped.
She revealed further that a Techno Cell phone suspected to be owned by one of the hoodlums and one RX 350 Jeep that belongs to one of the abducted people were recovered by the policemen.
