The Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, recently visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Obi and his running mate were accompanied to Obasanjo’s residence in the Ogun State capital by other prominent members of the Labour Party.
Baba-Ahmed confirmed the development on his Twitter handle but didn’t reveal issues discussed at the meeting.

Also, he also shared pictures from the meeting on Twitter.
Though the vice-presidential candidate of Labour Party did not reveal issues discussed during the meeting, there were speculations that plans on how to solicit support for Obi and his running mate ahead of the 2023 elections were discussed by the parties.
He tweeted: “Earlier today, myself and H. E. #PeterObi in the company of other #NgLabour chieftains consulted with the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.”
