The executive team of Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah has a new member as the service has named Lauren Jackson as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Deputy Chief.
According to a board member of the Global Law Enforcement & Public Health Association, Peel police, Jackson’s last role was as a Partner at Deloitte Inc. where she worked as National Security & Justice Leader.
With experience working with police, fire, paramedic, justice and security agencies at every level of government in Canada and internationally, PRP says Jackson will offer “strategic leadership, direction and oversight for the general business, administration, and support functions across our organization.”
In a release, PRP said: “Deputy Chief Jackson brings 14 years of demonstrated expertise in providing guidance, direction, and purposeful leadership in managing complex operational and administrative change initiatives.”
PRP revealed that Jackson is also an active volunteer with health care and social service agencies, and a mentor at the LGBTQIA+ Mentorship program at Deloitte.
