Peel District School Board (PDSB) is offering a free, virtual workshop in collaboration with Black Foundation of Community Networks (BFCN), a non-profit organization. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 24 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The aim of the workshop is to show black students who attend schools at PDSB and their families how to search, prepare and apply for bursaries and scholarships.
According to the board, the workshop is especially for those in Grade 8 or high school.
Families interested in joining are asked to register by filling out an online form by Friday, January 20 at 4 p.m. to get the online workshop link.
