Pastor Adeboye’s son dies at age 42

Pastor Dare Adeboye, the son of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Enoch Adeboye, has died.

He died in his sleep recently in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was living with his family.

It was reliably gathered that the deceased, who was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, ministered the day before he died.

Information has it that he retired to his bed and did not wake up.

According to a source, “He was not sick and did not complain of anything before the incident. Pastors in the church were summoned to pray for him, all to no avail.”

Many leaders of the church confirmed the incident, but they said they could not make any comment on his death.

RCCG’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, confirmed the death.

He said: “It is true. The incident happened in Eket where he was based. I don’t have the details for now. Maybe before the end of today, we will issue a statement.”

He would have been 43 years old next month and he was happily married with kids.
