Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has revealed he is looking forward to playing against Portugal and Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 21-year-old Nigeria recently signed for the Serie A outfit from Ligue 1 side Lille and he is set to make his debut in the league.
Napoli’s first Serie A match will be played against Parma this weekend as the Serie A season commences.
Napoli will slug it out with champions Juventus on October 10 and Osimhen come up against Ronaldo for the first time in his career on that day.
While talking to CAF media, Osimhen said: “I’m really looking forward to a new career here in Serie A.
“Playing against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo is something one can eagerly wait for.
“While at Lille, I had the opportunity of playing against some of the best players in the world like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and it would definitely be a whole great experience to play against Ronaldo, who is one of the greatest players on earth.
“So, I’m looking forward to facing him soon.”
Osimhen scored six goals and provided one assist during Napoli’s pre-season tour.
