Police reveal the body of Kevin Camilleri of Sharbot Lake in Central Frontenac, Ontario, who was reported missing in November, has been found.
In a recent news release, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed Camilleri was found dead but did not divulge where his body was located.
Recently, a large number of police officers were seen combing a rural property close to Sharbot Lake. Some officers were seen with hoses and hydraulic rescue tools toward a white house on a snowy hill. While others were seen checking a car parked out front.
People living near the property being searched by police said they were familiar with Camilleri, but he mostly kept to himself.
Camilleri, 59, was seen last on November 9 and police started investigating his disappearance on November 16.
Police said Sebastian Johnston, 29, had been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case. He will appear in court in Kingston, Ontario soon.
Police did not talk extensively about any connection between Johnston and Camilleri but said their criminal investigation continues.
