The Chairman of Lagos State Park Management Authority, Akinsanya Musiliu Oluomo, has taken to his Instagram account to criticize supporters of the Labour Party after the outcome of the recent gubernatorial election. Oluomo slammed the party’s supporters by referring to them as “Obidiots,” and saidt they now realized Lagos belongs to the Yorubas and not a no man’s land.
In his statement, Oluomo stated that the supporters of Labour Party are now facing the consequences of their speech, and he hoped they agreed that Lagos is the land of the Yorubas. He stated further that the Yoruba community had always been known for their hospitality but the Labour Party supporters took their speech too far.

Oluomo’s statement has generated mixed reactions from the public. While some people supported his statement, others have condemned it. Also, some individuals have called for politicians to stop using derogatory terms to describe supporters of other political parties, as it breeds unnecessary tension in the society.
