In the heartfelt address to thousands of North Korean mothers, Kim Jong-un passionately addressed the imperative of addressing the challenges associated with the declining birth rate. He emphasized the shared responsibility in maintaining a robust household and nurturing a new generation committed to advancing the nation’s ideals.
“Dear Mothers,” Kim Jong-un began, “Preventing a decline in birth rates and ensuring good childcare are essential tasks that we must collectively undertake alongside mothers. These responsibilities include raising children who will steadfastly carry forward our revolution, eradicating non-socialist practices, fostering family harmony and social unity, establishing a sound cultural and moral life, promoting communist virtues, and halting the decline in birth rates.”
Kim Jong-un underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between the leadership and mothers in overcoming societal challenges. “These issues are part of our collective family affairs, requiring our joint commitment with mothers to address,” he asserted.
