The whole nation was shocked when the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 195 new cases of coronavirus disease at around 11:50pm yesternight.
What shocked Nigerians most is Lagos State recorded 80 new cases of coronavirus disease in a day and the State plans to relax lockdown on May 4, 2020.
While making the announcement on its Twitter handle, NCDC wrote: “195 new cases of #COVID19 reported;

After the announcement, Nigerians took to social media to react to the shocking development. While some prayed to God to heal the land, other requested that Federal Government should extend the ongoing lockdown.
