Nigerians in UK ask Buhari to go back to Nigeria

Over a dozen Nigerians in the United Kingdom recently assembled at the Abuja House in London to “chase President Muhammadu Buhari out of town.”

It should be recalled that President Buhari traveled to the UK some days ago for a routine medical check-up and he is expected to come back to the country by the middle of this month.

Buhari’s decision to go on a foreign medical trip came at a time when Nigerian doctors threatened to proceed on an indefinite strike over non-payment of salary arrears and poor working conditions.

Since Buhari came into office in 2015, he has spent 170 days outside the country for treatment.

In a video that went viral on the internet, the protesters were seen singing protest songs while displaying placards of different inscriptions.

One of the organisers of the protest, a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, who put on an ENDSARS shirt, revealed thst the protest was to kick against the tyrannical administration of President Buhari.

He said: “We are here because we have a tyrant in that building. This is a man who on October 20 last year sent soldiers to kill peaceful and unarmed protesters.”

He alleged that the shooting of the #ENDSARS protesters who were requesting for good governance in Nigeria was ordered by Buhari.

He made it known that despite the huge allocation for the State House clinic, the administrstion of Buhari has been unable to establish a hospital capable of treating the President.
