Nigerians took to Twitter to condemn the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for a tweet where the Bureau concentrated on the 6 Nigerians that are wanted for scam on a list that has more suspects from other countries.

On Friday, the FBI posted images of the 6 Nigerians on their wanted list on Twitter and wrote: “Help the #FBI find six Nigerian nationals wanted for their involvement in business email compromise (BEC) schemes resulting in over $6 million in losses. Read more about each defendant at https://t.co/Q1OToaIVsl, and submit tips at https://t.co/iL7sD5efWD. #FugitiveFriday

However, there are 20 Asians, 39 Arabs, 16 Russians and more on the full wanted list and the FBI did not even mention them and their countries despite the fact that they have higher numbers. The Bureau only concentrated on the 6 Nigerian scammers and this infuriated Nigerians.

Nigerians have reacted on Twitter and attacked the FBI for continuing to advance the stereotype that Nigerians are the only fraudsters wanted by the Bureau.

Reactions from Nigerians are posted below:
