A Nigerian, Shola Agboola, who has lived in Canada for over 14 years has made it known he wants to run for office and represent the district of Saint Vital at Canada’s House of Commons.
Agboola is a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. While he seeks his party’s nomination, he announced his intention through a poster he shared on Facebook.
He stated that he had worked in the Corrections Division of the Department of Justice for 14 years and has been an active member of the Conservative Party of Canada for over 15 years.
According to him, some of the roles he has played in the party activities include being a riding president, campaign manager and policy proposal writer.
Saint Vital is a federal electoral district in Winnipeg, Manitoba which covers the southern part of Winnipeg city.
