Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has revealed that Air Peace and Max Air would commence the evacuation of Nigerians from Ukraine on March 2.

The Minister made this disclosure during a recent meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, in Abuja.
While making the disclosure, he said the development followed the approval of the process by President Muhammadu Buhari.
It should be recalled that the ministry announced last week that a special flight arrangement was in place to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Ukraine since the invasion of the country by Russia.
Last weekend, Romania and Hungary granted visa-free access to Nigerians that fled the East European nation.
