The Federal Government of Nigeria has lifted the ban on Twitter.
According to a senior government official, users of Twitter in Nigeria can access their Twitter accounts from 12 a.m Nigerian Time on Thursday January 13, 2022.
This development came after the social media platform agreed to open an office in Nigeria, among other agreements, with Nigerian authorities.
