With the current global economic climate and the need for countries to strategically position themselves if they aim to ensure the growth of their economies in a sustainable manner, a three-day global economic summit, aptly titled, The Nigerian Global Economic Summit “Outlook Nigeria 2023” organized by the Nigerian Global Business Forum was held on the 29th and 30th September 2022 at the Hilton Kensington London.

The two-day epic event attracted highly revered professionals and public sector leaders from Nigeria and across the globe. Some of the speakers included the Hon Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arch Olalemikan Adegite, Hon Dr Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairman, NIDCOM, Mr Olusegun Awolowo, CEO Awolowo strategies, Dr Debo Akande, Executive Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Agribusiness; others included Prof Rotimi Jaiyesimi, Vice President, Nigerian British Business Forum and CEO, Trojan Medical Group, Mrs Ibironke Adeagbo, CEO,
I A Foundation, Professor Chris Imafidon, CEO, Excellence in Education, Mr Ibrahim Abarshi, CEO Ibrahim Abarshi Consulting, Dr Larry Jones Esan, Senior Lecturer, Sunderland University and Mr Dipo Davies CEO, Castles magazine.
The speakers spoke on various subjects covering Agribusiness, Education, Exports, Mining, Real Estate, Technology, Health, Vocational Training and Nation building. In attendance at the event were also the Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK and a host of other dignitaries.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Nigerian Global Business Forum, Prince Afolabi Andu highlighted the strategic thinking behind the theme of the Summit “Outlook Nigeria 2023” stating that the Nigerian Global sub-economy was worth about $150B and such an economy cannot be ignored if Nigeria aims to attain the desired economic growth outcome over the next couple of years. Guests at the two-day Summit left without any doubt of the country’s huge business and investment opportunities.
