18-year-old Abiodun Adegoke is 7ft 9in and possesses the unique ability to slam dunk with his two feet well on the ground.
As things stand, the lanky Nigerian is set to become the tallest ever player in the NBA history after going viral.
A recently shared clip shows the Nigerian working in the gym with trainers in Dubai during a youth talent development camp, where he has been playing recently.
The video shows Adegoke can dunk while standing with both feet on the ground, move with unbelievable agility and show close control while dribbling.
The clip was shared by NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal, who played at the centre during his time and leveraged on his 7ft 1in frame to destroy teams.
Adegoke currently stands seven inches above any player that has played in the biggest stage in basketball.
He is known as “bignaija” on Instagram and he has already amassed tens of thousands of followers after he went viral.
He currently trains with the MPAC Sports UAE system as he considers the next stage of his career.
