A 35-year-old Nigerian whose name is Vitalis Okolie, has been apprehended by the police in India for allegedly trafficking 55 grams of hard drugs.
Mumbai Anti Narcotics Cell Senior Inspector, NB Kolhatkar, who revealed this to newsmen recently said the police acted on a tip-off and laid trap near a fast food joint in Kalamboli for Vitalis.
Vitalis was caught by the trap and he was arrested with 55 grams of methaqualone, a sedative-hypnotic drug.
Vitalis, who resides in Santacruz in Mumbai has been charged under the NDPS Act and has been remanded in police custody.
