Nigerian professionals within the Nigerian community in United States recently organised an event to recognise Nigerian-Americans in the Biden Administration for their excellence.

The event was revealed via a tweet by Dr. Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, the Director-General of World Trade Organisation (WTO).
The tweet read: “It was a great night of recognition for Nigerian-Americans excelling in the Biden administration. Happy to join the award ceremony and to meet such dynamic professionals including Enoh T. Ebong, @osaremen_ , Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo, Dr Kechi Achebe, @CRAguh and @IkeUmunnah!”

The honorees at the event include Ike Umunnah, Senior Advisor, Global Markets at the U.S Department of Commerce and Biden appointee at the International Trade Administration; Akunna Ezinwa Cook, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs; Osaremen Okolo, Member of IM COVID-19 response team; Enoh T. Ebong, Director of the United States Trade and Development Agency; Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo, White House Counsel; Kechi Achebe, Deputy Director for the Office of Health & HIV/AIDS, Africare and Chike Aguh, Chief Innovation Officer at US Dept. of Labor.
