Nigeria on Thursday recorded her highest single-day cases of COVID-19 following Nigeria Centre for Disease Control’s confirmation of 745 new cases in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 18,480.
The NCDC in its daily update on the pandemic situation in Nigeria disclosed that six persons died from complications of COVID-19 on Thursday. By implication, the death toll of COVID -19 increased to 475 from 469.

According to the NCDC, 6,307 patients have been discharged from every isolation facility across Nigeria as at yesterday.
